Share love and joy through a plate of cookies
Dark chocolate chips is the best cookie in my opinion. It balances a soft center with a crispy bite. A slightly bitter chocolate is a good counterweight to the sweet dough.
Place super ball size scoop of dough on a baking pan lined with parchment paper. Make sure to have a good portion of chocolate chips in the ball. Let it melt and cook to a circular shape. When it comes out of the oven slam the pan on the counter a couple of times for even thickness or thinness. Encircle individual cookies with a cookie cutter. With quick circular motion move the cookie so it gets an even circular shape.
Share the love of cookies at celebrations, holidays, birthdays or any day. Everyday is a good day with a plate of cookies.
Sometimes I use a cookie as a spoon to eat ice cream. Don’t knock it until you try it. Sooo good.
This Norwegian proverb says it all, “Cookies are made with butter and love.” The sentiment says share the joy.
