Make Room For Pie

Turkey and all the side dishes are good. I appreciate the effort and time in preparing the bird and all the stuff. I’m grateful for the meal. But the best part of Thanksgiving dinner is dessert. You know I’m right. At our table pie reigns supreme. My cousin makes the best pies. She makes a pecan pie, an apple pie, and my favorite, a pumpkin pie. To me her pumpkin pie is legend. If I could, I’d eat a whole pie by myself - actually I could but wouldn’t.
