Every Episode Leaves Me Gasping

I love the series For All Mankind streaming on Apple TV. It’s a fictional take on the space race between the United States (US) and Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) from the American point of view. The first season is set in the 1960s. Every seasons is set in subsequent decades. Every season presents an advancement in space travel. Eventually humanity makes its way to Mars. It’s a fascinating series.

The show is so good it has a spin off called Star City. It’s the space race from the Soviet point of view. It’s off to a very good start. Space stuff and spy craft in every episode, Star City highlights the tensions between military officials and employees as the government wants the country to be the first to space and beyond. So far they landed Venus. It was a tragic event.

If you’re a fan of the space program, watch both shows. If you like science fiction rooted in contemporary events, watch both shows. If you’re curious by human relations and interactions, definitely watch both.
