Break Time

I work in retail as a customer service salesperson. After two hours on the sales floor we are provided a fifteen minute break. Usually I work on an unfinished crossword puzzle on my phone. During one particular break I tried something different. I would draw a letter.

What materials did I use?

I used a small square of paper and miscellaneous pens. The paper and pens are kept on a communal table in the break room. They’re used by coworkers for writing notes of gratitude to fellow coworkers. Here’s a capital letter G. I like to believe it was subconsciously created for gratitude. I’m thankful for my 15 minute break.

Here’s a list of the tools I used

  • Fine Tip Pens

  • Piece of preprinted notepad paper

Capital G in greens and purple. Made during break time on the job.
